Grassroots Empowerment & Equity Since 2012
Transforming aspirations into action through equity, participatory planning, and grassroots resilience across Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.
Who We Are
Lok Kalyan Bhumika Samiti (LKBS) is a registered non-profit development organisation established under the Madhya Pradesh Society Registration Act, 1973 (Reg. No. 14599/12). Headquartered in Jabalpur, LKBS has worked tirelessly since 2012 to uplift tribal, SC/ST, forest-dependent, and underserved communities.
To date, LKBS has impacted over 18,000 households across 500+ villages in 10 districts. Guided by participatory and rights-based approaches, we implement integrated interventions across sustainable livelihoods, women's empowerment, climate-smart agriculture, water resource management, skill training, and financial inclusion.
Through long-term partnerships with SBI Foundation, NABARD, Reliance Foundation, JK Cement, RCCPL, MP Tourism Board, and NULM, LKBS has scaled sustainable development models that empower communities to lead their own transformation.

Hub-and-Spoke Model
Lead women, trained youth, and CRPs become change agents—supporting village clusters through capacity building and on-ground mentorship.
Integrated Multi-Thematic Approach
From livelihoods to health, agriculture to nutrition—LKBS integrates multiple sectors for long-term, layered impact.
Inclusion First
Focused on tribal, SC/ST, forest-based, and vulnerable families. Inclusion is built through flexible training, local dialect use, and field-based CRPs.
